Wednesday, April 10

Today started with chapel.  We had a great lesson from eighth grade.

We worked on story parts of the Great Molasses Flood of 1919.  We focused on the two main characters (Carmen and Papa).  We worked on the story plot, setting, and main problems.  In the I Survived book, we reached the climax of the story and should be wrapping up the book this week.

The Huddle was pulled from class in small groups for vision screening.

We had Computer class and worked on keyboarding skills.

In Math, we practiced facts with our multiplication brochures and Xtra Math on the Chrome Book.

Our student of the week chose a Storyline Online for us to enjoy.

We enjoyed recess on the field and went outside this afternoon for snack and a short break.

We began working hard on our spelling words for the week.

Permission slips are coming home today for our field trip on April 24.  We are headed to Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Detroit. Please return slips as soon as possible.
