Huff Huddle – Learning Plan for March 31

Friday is celebration day to kick off Spring Break. I would love to have a class meet up on Zoom that day before we begin break. What would be a good time for most? I was wondering about 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Let me know what works best for your family and I will plan a meet up for us at the time when would be most convenient for our families. Once we have determined the meetup plan, I will send out information on our Zoom meeting room. (If you don’t have the app, it’s a free download available on Mac/iOS, Android, and PC.)

Here is our plan for Tuesday:

1) Watch our YouTube video.

2) Keep sending the things we love about Faith. Her bday is Wednesday, the 1st!!

3) Finish up Patrick and the Great Molasses Flood on pages 295-304.

4) In the purple folder, students will work on 104 A and B. I teach about writing our numbers in expanded form to the thousands. Have your child show me that they have completed 104-B for facts and homework. Here are my samples for your child to work along with.

Huff Huddle – Newsletter for March 30 – April 3 and Learning Plan for March 30

Friends,

This week, I will be sharing devotional lessons using Resurrection Eggs with your kids as we approach Holy Week. On Friday, I will share how to make Easter cookies that my family enjoys at Easter. I will send the recipe if you might want to try over Spring Break and add to your Easter celebration.

Spring Break will begin on Saturday, April 4 and continue through Monday, April 13.

Thank you so much for being such incredible families to work together with. I appreciate all of your hard work with your kids. YOU ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB!! Remember learning is the goal! This all looks different right now, but we are learning.

At the bottom of this plan, you will find a song and some special videos about weather from Senora Phillips for your third grader to enjoy!

Remember, this is a plan for Monday, but the work does not have to be completed on Monday. Do not stress over this; do what works for your family. I am not expecting everyone to have these assignments done tomorrow, but it gives your child plenty to do tomorrow if they are seeking more to accomplish when they have down time.

Here is our plan for Monday:

1) Watch our YouTube video.

2) Print out the Huff’s Huddle Newsletter for March 30 – April 3.

3) Listen to the Song of the Week and read over our prayer requests.

4) PLEASE SEND ME WHAT YOU LOVE ABOUT FAITH FOR HER BIRTHDAY ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1!

5) Read the first half of Patrick and the Great Molasses Flood (pages 285-294)

6) Listen to our Jack Hartman multiplication X4 song.

7) In the purple folder, students will work on facts and lesson for 103 A and B. Attached you will find my answers for your child to work along with for 100 A facts and guided class practice. You only need to send me a pic of 100 Bs today.
