Huff’s Huddle Newsletter for February 6-10, 2023

Huddle Families,

Here’s this week’s newsletter!

It was so nice to meet new families that are interested in a Trinity education today at the open house.  Thanks for sharing about our school!

Please be sure to note that next Sunday, February 12th, third and fourth grade choir sings at the 9 a.m. service.

Thanks for all of your responses to our Valentine Sign-Up Genius.  I still have some spots open.  Thanks for considering sending in items for our sundae bar.

The Huddle is pumped for our Life Cycle of a Frog project.  I will not have a fluency assignment this week or next week with the projects.  Projects are due on Wednesday, February 15.  We will return to math homework this week now that the NWEA winter testing is completed.  There will be no cursive words this week in spelling as we are focusing on contractions this week.

The class read 185 books this week for A.R.  I am loving the reading that is happening in these winter days.  Now that we have completed The New Year Dragon Dilemma, we will be reading a biography about the life of Rosa Parks.

The Huddle had an amazing week last week in special classes.  Other teachers are noticing how we are maturing and growing as a class.  Would you be sure to share with your child how proud I am of their efforts and good choices?

In His Love, Mrs. Huff
